Creating equitable partnerships in global health efforts is essential to ensuring mutual growth, but how does one create such a partnership and how can we support the development of international health systems in an ethical way? We approached these questions with Dr. Chamberlain-Froese, the founder of Save the Mothers. Dr. Chamberlain is an OBGYN who has worked extensively in global health development. Her organization equips professionals in developing countries with the education and training needed to improve the health of mothers and babies.

COVID-19 Vaccine Lunch & LearnSince rolling out in late 2020, the Covid-19 vaccines have been met with both optimism and hesitance. This event sought to learn about the vaccines from scientific and public health perspectives. Our speakers were McMaster physicians: Dr. Rana Bana, a public health and preventative medicine physician, and Dr. Adam Komorowski, a medical microbiologist who has written extensively about the vaccines. Topics that were included: immunity duration, side effects, Canada's and Ontario's vaccination plans, and many more.
